Friday Afternoon Hawkeye Links | Two Deeps are Here!

The University of Iowa issued it's official release for next weeks game against Eastern Illinois. You can read it here. Listed are the first two-deeps of the season. Interesting notes, there is still a tie at kicker, looks like Ballard is going to be busy playing two positions, and no Shaun Prater at corner back.

Update: The 2 deeps are hard to find on the release, you have to read the PDF. So, here is a direct link to Marc Morehouse's blog with the 2-deeps.

If you recall, Prater was held out of scrimmage action at Iowa's Kid's Day event. No word yet on the severity of his injury. Other injury notes, Paki O'Meara, who is listed as the #2 running back, was rumored to have a broken nose. Also, guard Adam Gettis is rumored to have an ankle sprain. Gettis is also still listed as the  starting guard on this release.

There are a lot of stories today, so in an effort to save time, I'll just list the site and title.
