Hawkeye Basketball | Iowa Recruiting Prospects for 2012

There is a pretty nice list put together on Scout.com's Hawkeye Insider by a message board member named herbyhawk. Because Scout requires a log-in to read the post I thought I would use what herby started and expand the list a little bit. If coach McCaffery banks the scholarship from 2011 he will end up with five open spots to fill. One has already been taken by 6'10" forward Kyle Meyer. Here is a list and info about the hoops prospects Iowa has offered:

    1. Don't forget Patrick Ingram who doesn't have an offer yet, but has Iowa in his top four along with Tennessee, Southern Illinois, and Loyola-Chicago.

    3. Add Darius Paul (6'8/200) from Gurnee, IL to that list. Darius is the younger brother of Brandon Paul who plays for Illinois.

    4. Prince Ibeh does not have an Iowa offer. A Scout.com article posted by recruiting analyst Josh Gershon on 5/23/11 quotes Ibeh as having offers from Maryland, Florida, Vanderbilt, Texas, Texas A&M, Baylor, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Marquette.
